Stranger Kindness

I got out early, and it hadn’t been a bad day, so I picked up the kid and asked her if she wanted to go for Chillie Dogs and Ice Cream at the Dairy Queen.

She smiled and jumped in the car. The first DQ had one employee, which is never a good sign, and she smiled after I ordered and said. “I can give you cheese dogs. However, I’m out of Chillie.”

I thought, ‘How do you run out of 1 of the only 2 food items you have, but kept that to myself. I looked at the kid who moaned a face of disappointment without words, and I asked ,”You want to try the other DQ?” I didn’t have to ask twice.

We got what we wanted at the 2nd place and satisfied we went home. As I backed into street parking, the young man directly behind me backed his car up to give me more room. I was surprised/shocked. It had been so long since I saw stranger kindness that it’s given me a strange sense of hope and optimism…

A Little Complicated

I am not confused…

However, the world does seem a little complicated. This is no doubt in my mind intentional.

I remember a simpler time, and I know those days are gone.

We are mostly isolated from one another now. Separate yet, somehow, all connected by a technology that some fear will destroy us. It’s bound to happen. Why worry about the how? We control so very little.

And yet so little talk about God…

All I know is I don’t have the answers. I have some questions.

Shit Storm Coming

I have this annoying habit of standing up for myself in a standoffish, vociferous manner. Sometimes, I’m even right! In those uncertain moments, I have even learned not to inflate myself with righteous indignation.

Right or wrong, this is my nature; which doesn’t work well with acceptance as a general concept.

In general terms, I think the human condition has been trained to not offend. I remember that day well! I tried it on and didn’t like it.

As a result of this human condition, we have gotten the leadership we deserve and are subjected to being blindsided by policies and practices of psychopaths who care about you as much as I care for them.

There’s a shit storm coming like nothing we’ve ever seen, and there’s a fight to be had that will center around transhumanism, biotechnology, children, big pharmaceutical organizations, and financial greed…

Follow The Money

I don’t know if there is a bigger truth than if if you want to know the truth then, Follow The Money.

I went down the rabbit hole of YouTube yesterday in an attempt to find out who was funding the transgender movement and why.

The why is easy. Follow The Money. The who is for me a whole new cast of characters.

In the previous post, I uploaded a video by Jennifer Bilek, a feminist investigative journalist who talks about an organization called The Arcus Foundation and Jon Stryker, among others…

Would like to hear feedback on this…

Up The Food Chain

Les told me, “You don’t suffer, Fools.” And it’s taken some time to realize that what that means in a textbook fashion is that I lack patience with those whom I consider stupid.

Which, for me, is not the case. I lack patience with people who treat me as if I’m the fool, and there is a difference.

When I ask someone a question that they don’t answer, and then I remind them that if they have the experience, they claim they do, then they should know the answer to said question, and if they don’t provide the answer then I’m going up the food chain, somewhere over their heads to get my answer; and then they provide me the answer in the moment, then I lack patience for that and them…

It’s taken some time to work this out! Thank you for your patience.

The Rarity

It’s rare when I can’t sleep.

I’m up now, and I need to be up in 5 hours.

Something is off…

I told someone today that their sensitivities exceeded my abilities of tolerance…

It sounded like bullshit even to me. However, it might be correct. I do know that I have a really low threshold for certain people’s inability to answer a direct question. People in organizations hate to be quoted for fear it comes back to haunt them. Maybe it’s my disdain for middle management that has exceeded their levels of tolerance?

Dennis and

The Lost

They get lost in the city…

You see them mumbling; usually to themselves. They have lost everyone. None are left to listen to the complaints! The lost are the lonely…

The despair is written in the lines of their faces. Their addiction is in their voices. “Can ya spare some change?”

My guess is that they didn’t fit in where they came from either. Driven from the nest by the stronger siblings.

So seldom do they hear any words of encouragement. Maybe never…

The Best Days

Yesterday was fantastic, and little went as planned. I was exhausted long before it was over, and I pushed through that and made it home, I worked and made it to the bank and got to the kid. I was late and still made it to friends for pizza where highly skilled supportive neighbors helped me with the final details of my book edit…

Just before I fell asleep, I heard my daughter say what a wonderful day she experienced…
