Nature

I recognized my nature.

Not much was steeped in good.

There was this strange sensation.

Like maybe I just should.

Forget it all and start a new.

Take the narrow view to wide.

Take my head out from my ass.

And maybe look outside.

Not all is gain or glory.

Not all is pain and strife.

The road the path the choices made.

It’s a wild ride this life.

Gutter

The morning birds were chirping.

The air was dry and cool.

The sun rose at horizon.

All words were meant to fool.

We packed up from the gutter.

Gave no forwarding address.

Changed our phones and numbers.

Said so long, goodbye, God bless!

Returned and smiled at the country.

Unplugged the satellite.

Will prepare to meet my maker.

Teach the kid all wrong from right.

Processing

I am processing this socialist post pandemic new world situation that is from what I can see, not an order, but a place for the disgruntled to gather and see what they can fuck with next.

From a pure chaos perspective; a job well done. I can’t see the end game. I suspect that has not been clearly defined by most, which could explain my inability to ascertain and why I am still processing…

I could go Biblical here. However, that seems too easy. I’m also hoping that this isn’t the end times, regardless of whether that is a deserved outcome. Buckle up, folks! I fear that the complainers are finally going to have reasons…

UGLY

It is drama in the kitchen.

Exaggeration on the phone.

Silence in the bedroom.

Until we are all alone.

It is drama all this bitchin.

Humiliation… no atone.

Beauty is just skin deep.

And Ugly goes to the bone.

Purging of a Bowel

The sentence was death by boredom. The virus spread the earth.

Madness rained down upon them. Like some monsters giving birth.

They handed out free money. The kind that makes you soft.

And nearly jumped out their skin. When someone smiled and coughed.

Then Dylan put out an album. With a song called Murder Most Foul.

That sounds as disgusted as I feel. Like the purging of a bowel.

I’ve learned to take the blessings and take them as they come.

He is at another level, a bit too much for some.

Abundant and Clear

Having thoughts lots about dying.

And other things that I don’t know.

Its not the fear that’s got me down.

Just that I don’t want to go.

Now sure I know I have no choice.

Has been made abundant and clear.

This transformation is all the rage.

I just kinda like it here.

I hear all this complaining.

What’s wrong about this and that.

You never really stood a chance.

With an attitude like that.

The Phonecalls…

I don’t like to brag about my streetsmarts or intelligence; but I know why you only call me when you’re drunk… And it probably has more to do with the fact that I got in touch with and embraced my darker nature’s than anything to do with intelligence. I know you betrayed me. I know you fear that I will figure it out. I’ll let you in on a little secret. I knew while you were doing it.

I’m guessing that the reason I haven’t heard from you in a while is because the alcohol isn’t working anymore?

Ain’t that a bitch when that happens?

One way out is to face your fears and apologize. It takes some doing! That’s for sure…

Lines of Faith

The silence was almost deafening.

The air was filled with doom.

There was something like a memory.

A dank odor from another room.

A solution was not forthcoming.

Because no one said a word.

All were busy chewing fear.

And the lines of faith were blurred.

It’s too real for imagination.

Too somber to be kept.

I’m glad sometimes when I wake.

To lose sight of dreams, I slept.
