Gutter

The morning birds were chirping.

The air was dry and cool.

The sun rose at horizon.

All words were meant to fool.

We packed up from the gutter.

Gave no forwarding address.

Changed our phones and numbers.

Said so long, goodbye, God bless!

Returned and smiled at the country.

Unplugged the satellite.

Will prepare to meet my maker.

Teach the kid all wrong from right.
