Les told me, “You don’t suffer, Fools.” And it’s taken some time to realize that what that means in a textbook fashion is that I lack patience with those whom I consider stupid.

Which, for me, is not the case. I lack patience with people who treat me as if I’m the fool, and there is a difference.

When I ask someone a question that they don’t answer, and then I remind them that if they have the experience, they claim they do, then they should know the answer to said question, and if they don’t provide the answer then I’m going up the food chain, somewhere over their heads to get my answer; and then they provide me the answer in the moment, then I lack patience for that and them…
