Not A Lovers World

I could tell she was trouble by the way she walked. A purposeful stride, her arms spread out to maximum width, taking up as much sidewalk as humanly possible, a ski pole in each hand. Click Clack click clack against the pavement.

Her face was old and wrinkled. She wore a beret, black. Her lips were thin and fire engine red.

She disappeared down the avenue, click clack click clack… I imagined her as a younger woman, beautiful, turning heads, spurning advances, click clack click clack.

It all became so suddenly clear. It is not a lovers world. It never was and never will be.

I hated the way I judged people without knowing them, however that too passed quickly.

Sometimes

Sometimes things just don’t work…

No matter how hard you try.

Or how badly you want it.

Sometimes you just have to say fuck it!

Sometimes, just have drop back and punt!

Feelings are going to be hurt and that’s ok.

Sometimes you have to be selfish enough…

To put yourself first.

But not always.

If you you did that always then you are an…

Asshole!

Unforgivable

The unforgiven have a prison. To the unforgivings key.

The unforgiven have a prison. That only they can see.

When the unforgiving pray to God. They hear the unforgivens plea.

The unforgiving have a prison. That is dark and wicked deep.

If the unforgiven aren’t released. Then neither one will sleep.

It’s unforgivable. Inconceivable. These chains we choose to keep.

It’s unforgivable. Inconceivable. These tears we choose to weep.

It’s unforgivable. Inconceivable. This damage that we do.

It’s unforgivable. Inconceivable. These things I do to you.

Brilliant

This little miracle here…

Instant relief if you like breathing through your nose.

However use it longer than 3 days and you are stuffed up due to the medicine.

The key is to only clear one nostril and when the cold or flu is finished; you can just stop using the medicine and the other breathing hole is operational.

You might thank me later…

I won’t hold my breath!

I made the mistake of clearing both nostrils and am in the process of removing myself from this miracle after months of nasal issues…

The Technology Gap

It’s not that I feel left behind. That is not the the issue that I see.

There just seems to be less and less reasons to communicate with others at any level. And when you do communicate with people there seems to be barriers instead of help.

At the Receptionist level I feel we used to receive help or direction. Now we get. “Email our office @ … .com.”

“This is your office. You have the information and you have had it for years. Since I am here, can I not just reup the details to make sure you have what you need?”

These are the conversations I am having now.

People are not only working themselves out of a job; they are talking themselves out of any human contact.

I think I can get used to this!

Dawn

There is darkness in the air at dawn.

There is light beyond that Ridge.

We are hoping for the sunrise.

And not the burning of a bridge.

There was trouble in the shadows.

Last night emotions running high.

There was troubles at the henhouse.

I hear the roosters distant cry.

Rummaging

Looking around.

Rummaging in places others left alone.

Have been like this forever.

I remember being told.

“Why don’t you just leave all of that be ? And get on with your life. “

I didn’t have the answer then; but I do now.

If someone doesn’t have what it takes to look at the insanity then it just continues, one generation to the next.

I’ve been rummaging to stop the: intergenerational transmission of family disfunction.
