Like Snow

The rain fell down around like snow today.

From the sky I swear it wouldn’t go away.

Got so depressed, I went to work to play.

And someone spoke, I didn’t hear a word they say.

The rain it fell again today like snow.

I thought of you and those thoughts just wouldn’t go.

In that past where all those faulty memories flow.

I had to call just to hear your voice, you know?

It sure was nice catching up with you.

Seems long ago, yet how that time flew.

You scared me at a time where that fear grew.

The oldest friends mean the most, like so few can do.
