Neurosis is a punishment for intelligence.

Neurosis is a punishment for intelligence.

A holy place is never empty.

I bought a magnifying glass today to study photographs of me and my surroundings as a child. What was I holding? What was the name of that book that I have zero recollection of? Signs of aging no doubt and the last time I saw this photo as I child I was horrified by how skinny I was. Now I just see me as normal.

They are counting calories and whining about screen time and can’t stop chatting about something called gluten free…
I just thank God I have other things to occupy my mind and that I am not they.

It has taken a long time to learn to stop talking and just write it down.
I used to think people lied, however now I realize that they actually believe what they say, so they’re really not lying at all.

John was lamenting about the death of Rush drummer Neil Pearl and I was thinking about the passing of my friend Roger, when Mark laughed, “Well Johnny, we’re all playing on the back 9 now!”
True enough Mark, true enough.

Another has begun full of potential. Things have started well. I have woken and feeling fine… I have spoken with God and have heard nothing in response or to the contrary so I am feeling positive about proceeding forth and getting out of bed…
She is with me today which is always lovely and I will take her to school and then we will have lunch and then I will write about a past for her to read in the future that some say doesn’t exist.

The time has been made… the opportunity is at hand…
And yet I struggle to write a page a day and yet at that rate success can come.
I am trying to break through what is nothing more than imaginary mental barriers with little understanding of their power scource.

I know it might look uninteresting to you like I’m bored or stumbling, however things couldn’t be further from reality.
I am stuck here in the shadows, mining really, searching for meaning to your behaviors.
Wise men are suggesting that the motives lie in fears and or desires, but I think it must be something else.
Maybe you’re like those poor souls, lost and stumbling, searching for answers in the behaviors of others?
