strange like the unicorn apparently are we who continue to learn into adulthood.

i have had it drummed into from such an early age of how little I knew that learning new strategies is an addiction.

I have personal knowledge of people who throw around words like spirituality and gratitude, who are the least spiritual and seemingly know nothing of gratitude… their actions are greedy, fearful and selfish.

I feel empathy towards them for their ignorance and lacking in self knowledge must be burdensome and deep down at some level… they must know they aren’t what they claim to be?

I am thankful I get to sleep in…

I am thankful I get to see my daughter and do nothing other than watch her watch cartoons!

I am thankful for everything that’s gone on before even if sometimes I bitch and complain and sound as if I’m not grateful at all.

I am thankful for pumpkins and open fields for her to run in…

When I was a toddler, before memory… I used to walk here with Poppy Ross. Poppy was older then and they said I would follow the old man, as they called him, everywhere and anywhere.

This is where I envision retirement…

They were probably right.

Where the previous day my girl danced for joy… Now there’s tears.

I was told by the vet that Victoria was a bad idea for my elderly cat.

I watch her struggle with her emotions She knows I am giving her the straight goods and that I love her and I want her to have a dog.But in her mind it isn’t just a dog; it’s Victoria…

I made a mistake showing her this photo , however… just a taste of disappointment in itself is at the very least a preperation for life?

She said, “You’re very obstreperous.”

I answered, “That’s easy for you to say.”

She came back, “You don’t know what that means, do you?”

“Obviously you’re the smart one here, I’m just not as comfortable with being as strepitous as you is all.”
