Happy Father’s Day 2023

I awoke from dreams & sweating.

In a night so dark and still.

Were screams and such bloodletting.

The cat had made a kill.

Dead bird is on the carpet.

Father’s Day comes with the sun.

Really not much of a present.

For sure… not the only one.

Happy Father’s Day,
In Italy we celebrate it on March 19, the day dedicated to Saint Joseph, the putative father of Jesus
