The world we live in is spectacular for so many reasons, however the one I would like to focus on now is the overall general malaise that the people of today have towards honest communications.

My daughter was on a schoolbus for 2 hours in what should have been a 25 minutes trip. I called when the bus was 48 minutes late and told she would be there in 10. When she was 1 hour late I was told another 15… And still it took another 20…

I enquired as to why they couldn’t communicate honestly using one of my favorite phrases, “Don’t piss down my back and tell me its raining… just tell me how late the bus will be.” Which might have caused a bit of upset but sometimes life is like that.
