Lucky One

He was born into luck in the city.

His smile was handsome and bright.

With a voice they compared to angels.

Too bad he didn’t know how to fight.

The blows they rained down upon him.

The pain had hardly begun.

When his feet found air and distance.

My oh my that boy sure could run.

There is no moral to this story.

There is nothing much more to say.

Except hero’s are a dime a dozen.

The lucky one fights another day.
