Cursed

She said, ” We’re cursed… the entire family. All of us. ”

I listened and decided to say silent. She seemed so convinced. It’s not that I don’t believe in curses… It’s possible: However I think it’s easy to look for the boogeyman instead of just accepting the fact that children who grow up without fathers are disadvantaged.

We are that family: Me and my 2 sisters.

George Morris said we are either victims or volunteers. When we are children we are victims. When we are adults: mostly we are volunteers. Maybe that’s why I have never thought of myself as cursed.Dennis Mantin
