He seemed sure of himself as if insights had been granted his way giving knowledge about all.
I never argued, perhaps too tired, perhaps I realized there was no way of knowing for me. “Perhaps you’re right.” I grinned and left.
The old guy used to whine that he was tired to the bone. “I wake up tired.” He would say each morning.
I just know that when I’m on vacation, walking the beach and swimming in the waves I seem less weary than when I work 16 hours a day.
