In the dark all cats are gray                      Regardless of color in the light of day  The damndest thing the strange you say. I fear you now not yesterday.

Was yesterday I heard the scream              I jumped from bed was in a dream        Smashed my foot in darkness gleamed  Pain felt real or so it seemed. 

Back to bed at regain control                  Felt that pain ebb and roll                        Heard your voice in my soul                Closed my eyes and paid the toll.
