Once was an alcoholic named Rick.
Who sometimes called himself Dick.
Put down the booze.
It’s your name you choose.
Richard, can you cease being a prick?

There once was a woman named Irene.
Who lived in a bus shelter I seen.
She yelled day and night.
To all those in her sight.
But went silent in the days quarantine.

Life was mired in the drama.
Lost in pain and strife.
It got tired like that threesome.
Which one of you is wife?
They talk of hole in doughnut.
The one they can’t fill.
Happiness is all the rage.
Choose your poison. Get your fill.
It’s darker now at midnight.
Can’t sleep till almost dawn.
Seems like sometimes such a waste.
Then puff… It’s done and gone.
So now it’s all eternal.
All spirit, love and God.
It may be time to just let go…
Smile wave and nod.

The mask is causing my glasses to steam and one streetcar not moving is causing a backup for miles and a young woman is screaming at her 2 little dogs for spilling her coffee as if that were anywhere near the truth…
Yeah it’s going to be one of those days to just put one foot in front of the other and do the next right thing.
Happy Mother’s Day V

I never met Peter… however I regret not knowing this rule as a younger man .
The rule simply stated that until you were intimate with someone at least 10 times… DON’T make any major decisions about that person: such as
1.Marry them.
2.Move in with them.
3.Say’ “I love you.”
I believe that with a better press agent, Peter Bacon could have won the Nobel Peace Prize with this brilliance.

The hardest lessons come when the options are gone. Doing nothing when there’s a choice is different than doing nothing because there’s nothing to do.
I imagine it’s like that at the end; when you have no choice, just waiting for the reaper.
I won’t feel I wasted time. No. There’s been much to contemplate. The devil is in the details.

He was an ad man in earlier life who swore that any problem involving negative human emotions could be solved with kindness and love.
I put it to the test and have found it to be true. It didn’t come easy, however Mort changed me.
I loved the man, especially the sound of his voice that spoke often of love and kindness.
The problem I have right now Martin (Mort) Walsh is I miss you.
Brian said it best; “God bless you and keep you safe on the next part of the journey old friend.

I saw her in the mid day.
Later her voice was on the phone.
She told me what she wanted.
I asked, “Are you still alone?”
She told me that she wasn’t.
But that the company wasn’t great.
I said, “Now imagine that’s forever…
And choose wisely who you mate.”

I cleaned my entire house including under the kitchen sink … where I found a previous residents drug stash.
Having had my day with such activities I was blindsided by the unexpected and got triggered.
I had drug using dreams last night for the first time in more than a decade and found myself having thoughts of…
I flushed twice.

He was born into luck in the city.
His smile was handsome and bright.
With a voice they compared to angels.
Too bad he didn’t know how to fight.
The blows they rained down upon him.
The pain had hardly begun.
When his feet found air and distance.
My oh my that boy sure could run.
There is no moral to this story.
There is nothing much more to say.
Except hero’s are a dime a dozen.
The lucky one fights another day.
