I painted this without thought.
I was painting another painting and took an old canvas I painted blue which I used to clean my knives and brushes.
At some point I added the black image consciously; but not much else. Then Paul Fournier came into the studio and said,” Do not touch that painting, it’s perfect!”
So I stopped.
