In Toronto Canada this morning, I go grocery shopping at a chain store that has decided to stop employing cashiers; and where they expect people to self check their products, they also charge $2.50 for a can of soup. Well, good luck with that!

This will work itself out. So much loss of profits due to theft that the powers that be will be forced to bring back the single mothers and students who rely on these jobs.

The amazing thing about this to me is the joyful, blissful participation of society in allowing big business to maximize their profits by self checking their own groceries without a single thought about what is going on…
