My mouth so dry that I can’t spit.
And I don’t like it one damn bit.
I need water that I can’t get.
To cleanse my soul before I’m lit.
Saw a light there in sky.
Said please, oh, please do not pass by.
Shed no tears. I couldn’t cry.
I’m left here. High and dry.
Feel so hot. My face is red.
Trying hard. Words be said.
Find my feet. Get outta bed.
Water water in my head.
My mouth so dry that I can’t spit.
I’ll have to rise I must admit.
A glass is here that I can get.
Waters here. I’ll take a sip.

Lovely poem and beautiful image ❣️❣️❣️
