Stone

Do not wait up. Cause I’ll be late.

I trotted off. Thought it’ll be great.

I got drunk, and I got some stone.

Woke up weary and all alone.

She left a note, not coming back.

Went back to sleep. I guess that’s that.

There’s growing up or there’s going down.

The bottoms here. All over town.

There comes a day, and that day is here.

I’ve had my share, and I want to be clear.

Please don’t be mad. I’m full of fear.

If I don’t stop, then the end is near…

I’m waking up, and it’s not too late.

Faced some fears that change fate.

I’m not drunk, and I’m not alone.

And I got this place. I call home.
