The Long Days of Summer

The heat has faded like my memory. The cool night air is a welcome change. Beauty has had her way once again.

I am calmer now with much patience. They said it wouldn’t happen: it has. The prognosticators are still a force despite their inability to predict. They drive me to succeed.

I plan now with wise advisers who hover in the shadows silently.

This will be the way going forward and though I am older now; the lessons have just begun.
